Ribbon Movie Review:

All India Upcoming Bollywood Movie Ribbon Released on 3rd November 2017 .Start with  Kalki Koechlin, Sumeet Vyas.

This is Rakhee Sandilya’s debut movie as a director but unfortunately she has done pretty average job. She tries to mashup a lot of things in one story but ends up acing only one. If only she could’ve focused more on what she’s serving in the first half rather than keeping the main product under wraps until it was too late.

At the end of all, Ribbon tries to portray something really bad happening around us. It’s just the sludgy route it takes that bothers throughout. Watch only if you can ignore all of the above flaws.
Two and a half Stars! Koimoi

Koimoi Rating : 2.5/5

Ribbon starts off with one storyline and ends with another, but fails to capture the gamut of both. Rakhee Sandilya has started a conversation on a less-spoken human emotion, very humanely. If only she had taken one route and explored it to its optimum level. Times of India

Times of India  Rating3/5

The best part is that we are given a very realistic view — there are no biased viewpoints that take us through the story. The audience is free whether they want to judge the characters, choose a side, or simply absorb the harsh realities of life, as shown in the film. Ribbon turns the audience into a fly on the wall for a clear insider’s view. HindustanTimes

HindustanTimes Rating : 2.5/5

Nice to see man and woman working, and dealing with stuff that happens post-marriage: all the messy, irritating stuff that has not been part of the happily-ever-after Bollywood landscape. Kalki Koechlin leaves a mark as a harried professional. The Indian Express

The Indian Express Rating :  2.5/5

The movie also explores workplace sexism. When Saahana returns to work after her maternity break, the humiliation she faces at being demoted is well depicted. Ribbon deals with the everyday life problems that a young couple goes through while trying to strike a balance between their personal and professional lives. Rediff

Rediff Rating : 2.5/5
